Is there such a thing as storybook romances in wrestling history? Yes and no is your answer. There is weddings that have happened on television that have turned into real life romances and some of them nasty divorces too. There is also Weddings that could have happened on television but never happened. May Valentine and Aron Stevens could have got married recently on the first live NWA Powerrr but that never happened due to the groom not having the right paperwork because he brought the marriage between citizen paper and the bride isn't a US Citizen.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth was the first Marriage on television that became popular and that was in the '80s and they eventually went on and married in real life. Being married in the wrestling business is stressful because you're on the road all the time and you don't see your partner so you have to worry about if they're loyalty or not. Example of Mike the Miz Mizanin is married to Maryse and he's on the road all the time and they have a TV Show that airs on Live tv. A couple of the Real life romances have taken place between wrestlers who work for Different Companies as well. One of the marriages that was interesting was the marriage of Billy and Chuck. They are too straight men in real life but they had a gay marriage on TV. Stephanie McMahon and HHH are one of the marriages that has been successful over time and originally they were an on screen relationship that turned into a marriage. She was suppose to marry Test on screen but nope she ended up marrying HHH.
