Second, we pray that Paul “Triple H” Levesque and his creative team over at WWE in the Main Roster WILL CONTINUE to book quality weekly shows for Raw so that they can send us and the rest of the WWE Universe home HAPPY as we head towards the road to Saturday Night Main Event in New York AND by putting on an UNPREDICTABLE FALLOUT SHOW. Third, we pray for NO REWRITES and absolutely NO LAST MINUTE CHANGES to the original scripts and the show itself for the red brand IF Mr. Vince McMahon is NOT “in the weeds” of things. Fourth, we pray that WWE WILL continue to properly utilize ALL of their featured male AND female Superstars + the underutilized Superstars that the Red Brand has to offer! Fifth, we pray that Adam Pearce continues to enjoy his role as authority figure in being THE General Manager of the Red Brand that is Raw! Sixth, we pray that we see more of the national treasure himself R-Truth in his Godly element from all these featured entertaining segments… backstage or inside the squared circle over on Raw! Seventh, we continue to pray that Joe Tessitore adjusts himself nicely as RAW’s lead play-by-play commentator as he will call the action throughout the course on the RED BRAND! Seventh, after announcing the 10 year celebration of the New Day, we pray that we find out if The New Day will finally COMBUST as we see if Xavier Woods will FINALLY give into DARKSIDE after weeks of TENSION! Additionally, after arguing backstage, we pray that we find out what’s next for the New Day as we see if Big E will be able to play PEACEMAKER between his two partners! Eighth, after announcing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, we pray that we find out which RAW Women’s superstar will advance in the PRELIMINARY round of the tournament! Additionally, after the Women’s Wargames Match comes to a conclusion, we pray that we find out what’s next for Women’s World Heavyweight Champion Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and their rival Rhea Ripley as we see if they’ll ENTER the Tournament or NOT! Ninth, after successfully retaining their World Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against the War Raiders, we pray what’s next for the JD McDonogh and Finn Balor of the Judgment Day as we see which team is next in line for a Tag Team title shot! Additionally, after UNSUCCESSFULLY capturing the World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, we pray that we find out what’s next for Erik and Ivar of the War Raiders as we see WHETHER they will continue to pursue The World Heavyweight Tag Team Championships or NOT! Tenth, after being ambushed by Nikki Cross, last week we pray that we find out in the WAR between The Final Testament and Miz as we see if they will RETALIATE against The Wyatt Sicks! Additionally, after running into The Final Testament last week, pray that we find out if Pete Dunne can FINALLY get his hands on R-Truth after CONSTANTLY calling him Butch! Eleventh, after BRAWLING last week, we pray that we find out who PREVAILS as Intercontinental Champion between Champion Bron Breakker and Challengers Ludwig Kaiser & Sheamus as we see if they’ll continue to cause CHAOS on the Red Brand! Additionally, after finding out who comes out Intercontinental Champion, we pray that we find out who will become the next OPPOSITION as we shall see if the CHALLENGER will be a RETURNING or DEBUTING Superstar, or POSSIBLY Jey Uso or Sami Zayn once The Bloodline Civil War comes to a RESOLUTION! Twelveth, after finding out the outcome of the World Heavyweight Championship Match, we pray that we find out what’s next for the champion whether it be GUNTHER or Damian Priest as we shall see who will be the next to CHALLENGE the World Heavyweight Championship Match! Additionally, making his Triumphant returns last Friday as the final member of The Bloodline Originals, we pray that we find out what Seth Rollins will say about CM Punk returning at Survivor Series: Wargames as we see if his FEUD with “Big” Bronson Reed will FINALLY come to a CONCLUSION or NOT!

And FINALLY, we pray for some ALL-OUT BRAWLS to break out sometime during the show, and we hope AND pray for ALSO an OUT-OF-CONTROL CHAOTIC Main Event on the show in the process as well overall!

Ronin Season Five: Episode 6

 

6. Tiger Strikes
Ryo, Cye and Mia secretly tracking Jack-al, a new Beast Mercenary as he begins slaughtering regular people with claw darts. A news report on the killings causes fear in the city forcing a curfew until the new beast is stopped. While on a night out, Rowen and Sage are confronted by the Beast Mercenary. The two are easily swatted away as one of Jack-al Claw darts breaks one of Rowen’s arrows. Ryo and the rest of the Ronins show up only for the Beast Mercenary to escape. Meanwhile, Alice attempts to bond with Lt. Stone only for the moment they had was just a test on her cat-like abilities after a squad of Dynasty Warriors attacks her. Jack-al about to attack an orchestra concert arrives with a trio of Beast Warriors and a brawl breaks out. During the chaos, Cye and Anubis spot Alice and chase after her. Rowen uses the arrows Mia made for him and is able to take down Jack-al and the Beast Warrior trio with assists from Ryo, Sage, and Kento. Cye and Anubis catch up to Alice who surrenders easily. She later tells the rest of the Ronins that she wants to help them stop Lt. Stone. As the episode ends Lt. Stone reveals that he has placed a tracker on Alice knowing her whereabouts.

Guyver Season Three: Episode 18

18. Dark Horizon
Mel is used as a weapon for Sean (Balcus) as he uses her anger to destroy the Zeus crew from within. Breaking out of her containment cell she is intercepted by her Present-Day self and the two scuffle, but the future version gets the better of Melanie who escapes Zeus industries. All the while, Zektor uses this as a diversion and starts destroying the Detroit Police Department, which is supposed to be Zeus Patrol Delta. After escaping Sean bio-boosts as he and Melanie give chase to the rogue agent as he’s trying to get to Chronos. Meanwhile, back at DPD a furious fused Zektor along with three Chronos Agents continue to drop bodies as nine police officers are severely wounded. Before they could do anymore damage, Merrick and his Alternate Self arrive to intervene. Zektor, surprised as both Merrick thought to have perished, arrive with reinforcements as Tien and Krillin arrive to even the odds. A melee breaks out as the sides attempt to to be separated. Mel arrives spotting Zektor and attacks him. Merrick and his Alternate Self sees this trying to hold her back, but she breaks free going after the Hyper-Zoanoid. Mel, going for the final blow, is then killed as Sean (Balcus) arrives sniping her with his Pressure Cannon. Merrick in retaliation kills Zektor using his Megasmasher. Towards the episode's end, Merrick reunites with the team as Sean’s evil counterpart watches from afar.

Additionally, after Shinsuke Nakamura made a SURPRISING return last week attacking United States Champion LA Knight, we pray that we find out what next for both SUPERSTARS as we will see if the MEGASTAR will STRIKE BACK against the “KING OF STRONG STYLE!” Eighth, after interrupting the WWE Tag Team Championship Match between The Motorcity Machine Guns and The Street Profits, we pray that we find out what’s next for Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano as we see if DIY will FINALLY become UNHINGED! Additionally, after attempting to keep the peace between Alex Shelly and Tomasso Ciampa last week, we pray that we find out who Johnny Gargano will side with as we see if he can REASON with his partner Tomasso Ciampa! Crown Jewel 2024

World Wrestling Entertainment “Crown Jewel 2024”

Venue: Mohammed Abdo Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Marhaban (hello in Arabic) CTA Express Passengers to our Review of WWE’s Crown Jewel Premium Live Event here on CTA Express. The WWE is back in Saudi Arabia for another great Wrestling PLE, this time we also have two new Championship’s called the “Crown Jewel” Championship. These Championships will be “Champion vs. Champion” Matches representing both brands RAW and Smackdown. Who will be the first inaugural Women’s and Men’s Champion? Lets find out together, we are Chris and Tikitaka and we welcome you to another PLE Review here on CTA Express…. Here we go! 

Six Man Tag Team Match

The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga w/ Tonga Loa) defeated the OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) by Pinfall (16:35)

Chris/Jey says: In the opening match, The Original Bloodline reunites, as the face The New Bloodline. There was a lot of tension between The Bloodline OG’s as Jey wants everyone to be equal, but Roman Reigns still wants to run things within the faction. I enjoyed that fact that Jey having his own entrance showed that he’s now his own man, considering he’s now one of the main superstars on RAW. The New Bloodline prevailed at the end. The post match saw former Honorary Uce Sami Zayn make the save, but accidentally kicked Roman Reigns, which caused more tension between The Original Bloodline members. 

Tiki says: The Original Bloodline is back together, well at least it's Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso who will face the new Bloodline built around Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga + Tonga Loa. There's a lot of tension inside the OG Bloodline, Jey Uso wants to be equal to Roman Reigns and no more being the "right hand man" who does everything that Roman says without having his own opinion and this shows. Jey having his own Entrance at Crown Jewel was a big statement which caused a lot of tension during the whole match. also refusing to tag with Roman when it was needed was a big advantage for the new Bloodline who got the win here.

Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (C) defeated Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky), Meta Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) and Chelsea Green + Piper Niven by Pinfall (12:00)

Chris/Jey says: Next up is the Women’s Tag Team Championship match as Champion Jade Cargil and Bianca Belar are the center of this. Within the past few weeks the women’s tag team champions have been the target of the Women’s Tag Team Division. Names like Damage CTRL, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, and most NOTABLY Meta-Four have all face-off with the Champions on numerous occasions. It was a good match overall and the way it was booked was a crossover of INTERBRAND proportions. This also marked the main roster debut Premium Live Event debut of Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. These two women deserve to be where they’re at now and proved they can hang with the big girls. Regardless Bianca and Jade retained here, and it was definitely the right decision. I’m curious to see where what’s next for this tag team going forward. 

Tiki says: The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships are next with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair pretty much in the focus. In the last few weeks we pretty much have seen them not being on the same page on a few occasions and now they face Damage CTRL, Meta-Four and Chelsea Green + Piper Niven in a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match. It was a good second match, and I'm pretty happy the WWE was able to book this match the way they did. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson deserved this, and proved that they will be a big part of the Women's Tag Team Division once they get called up from NXT. Bianca and Jade retained here, and it was the right decision BUT... it will be interesting to see how this will go in the next weeks on the Road to Wrestlemania.

Singles Match

Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeated “Big” Bronson Reed by Pinfall (12:00)

Chris/Jey says: WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I love seeing Seth “Freakin” Rollins back on my computer screen. We’ve all missed you! After a long injury break the visionary is back in action and wants a piece of “Big” Bronson Reed! The Goliath finally has made it in a big PLE card which really deserves making a name for himself. Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins has had a rivalry as of late and the BEHEMOTH has been pushed as a monster destroying SUPERSTARS like Braun Stroman, The Miz, and most recently the visionary Seth “Freakin” Rollins. The outcome was expected as Seth Rollins prevailed against Bronson Reed. This wasn’t an easy task for the Beast Slayer and I am positively sure this feud isn’t done. 

Tiki says: Welcome Back Seth "Freakin" Rollins we have missed you! As a Fan I am pretty happy that the Visonary is back in the ring and as it looks healthy again after his long injury break. Bronson Reed finally has a big match on a PLE Card which he deserves and where he hopefully can prove that this should happen way more often. Bronson Reed is a great Wrestler and deserves a big push in the future. I fully expected Seth Rollins to win here, and he indeed won the Match via Pinfall... but.. it wasn't easy for Seth and it looks like Bronson Reed isn't finished with Rollins.....

WWE Crown Jewel Women's Championship Match for the inaugural Crown Jewel women’s Championship

Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax by Pinfall (8:15)

Chris/Jey says: This next match is the first of two Crown Jewel Championship matches. As Liv Morgan took on Nia Jax! The SmackDown Women’s Champion also won the Queen of Ring Tournament in Saudi Arabia, while Liv Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley during her revenge tour. Liv Morgan won here and became the first ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Nia Jax ever since her return has really impressed and is still is. It was great match from both women, especially Tiffany Stratton who by the way still hasn’t CASHED-IN yet. I definitely can’t wait til these two ladies cross paths again. 

Tiki says: the first of the two Crown Jewel Championship Matches, Champion vs. Champion. We start off with the Women's Match, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax! The Smackdown Women's Champion who has also won the Queen of the Ring Tournament in Saudi Arabia to actually become the Women's Champion and Liv Morgan who defeated Rhea Ripley on her Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. Liv Morgan won and is the first ever Female Crown Jewel Champion after a great match from both Women. Nia Jax has really improved since her return, I said this before and she's still impressing me especially in these high stakes matches. Congrats Liv Morgan! Your first Crown Jewel Champion.

United States Championship Triple Threat Match

LA Knight (C) defeated Andrade and Carmelo Hayes by Pinfall (9:10)

Chris/Jey says: The following Championship match has been building up for weeks.I definitely enjoyed it especially with the WWE SUPERSTARS involved. Carmelo Hayes and Andrade El Idolo finally getting a PLE match makes me so giddy and LA Knight has done a TREMENDOUS job carrying this feud as United States Champion. A great decision by WWE making this a triple threat match as we haven’t really had many of those in a while. In all, LA Knight was able to retain the United States Championship with a…what I have to say very smooth BFT. 

Tiki says: This match had his build up for weeks and weeks and I have to admit I really enjoyed it. We have three great Wrestlers in this Match with Andrade and Carmelo Hayes getting a PLE Match which makes me very happy since I both like them. LA Knight has done great as the United States Champion and fits perfectly into this feud by getting involved in Melo vs. Andrade several times. A Triple Threat Match was the best decision. LA Knight was able to retain the United States Championship and it will be interesting to see who will be his next opponent and what Andrade + Melo will do.

WWE Crown Jewel Men's Championship Match for the inaugural Crown Jewel men’s Championship

Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther by Pinfall (23:00)

Chris/Jey says: It’s Main Event time as the Second Crown Jewel Match is underway. World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER faces WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. In the past couple weeks Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER have had few great segments. Each of them taking shots at one another especially in their personal lives. On the Go-Home show of SmackDown GUNTHER was able to put Cody Rhoedes to sleep, applying a sleeper hold. Fast forward to the match itself, the two superstars were able to have an instant classic. Cody Rhodes also requested several times to have a match with GUNTHER, especially after the Royal Rumble back in 2023. At one point during the match, GUNTHER applied the sleeper hold once again, but Cody Rhodes was able to counter it into a pinfall for the victory. This match was one for the books and I do hope we get to see these two go head to head again. 

Tiki says: Time for the Main Event and the Second Crown Jewel Championship Match this time it's RAW's World Heavyweight Champion "the Ring General" Gunther vs. Smackdowns Undisputed Champion "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. in the last couple of weeks Gunther and Cody had a few great Segments with the big one right before Crown Jewel and Gunther being able to apply the Sleeper Hold against Cody on Smackdown. The first time Cody had no real control about what's going to happen and it was great to see how he would react to Gunther calling him a Second Rate Champion. In this match you will have two classic superstars facing off against each other in a Wrestling Match, two Wrestlers with Gimmicks that would fit perfectly in the 80s but also work very well in the 2000's. Cody Rhodes has asked several times for a match against Gunther before and after Mania and at Crown Jewel he finally got it. As expected it was a great Match between the RAW and Smackdown Champions with Cody Rhodes being able to get the Victory and become the first ever Crown Jewel Champion after he was able to counter the move that Gunther has used on Smackdown against him, the Sleeper Hold. good booking and Ireally hope we will see them in a 2nd singles match in the future.

Ronin Season Five: Episode 5

5. Bullet In The Heart
A New Beast Mercenary known as Cheetar is ordered by Lt. Stone to pick up a girl known as Alice at the airport. The Ronins hear about this from Anubis as Rowen and Kento are there to intercept the kidnapping attempt. At the airport two of the Dynasty Warriors get into a confrontation with Kento as the remaining Dynasty Warrior takes Alice off the distraction. Mia then reveals that Alice is Lt. Stone’s daughter. Kento and Rowen are then forced into an accelerated car chase. Meanwhile Ryo and the remaining Ronins deal with Cheetar at a nearby mall. The Ronins battle him as Cheetar uses a young teenage girl as a shield Sage and Cye then hit a High-Low move forcing him to lose his grip while Anubis ties him up with his sickle. Ryo stuns the Beast Mercenary with the Flare up Now knocking him out. Back on the streets, Rowen uses one of his arrows blowing off one the tires of Dynasty’s van while Kento uses his Bo staff to rescue Alice before the vehicle tumbles off the highway. It is then revealed that she has cat-like reflexes, surprising Rowen and Kento. Back at the hut, the Ronins regroup as Alice reveals why her dad wants her back. Towards the episode's end, Lt. Stone reveals that he has victims stashed at Dynasty Industries locked in cages. In a post credits scene Guile receives a message from a mysterious outworldly being warning him about Freiza’s impending invasion.

So grab your food and drink because it’s time to get ready for what could be “The Final Countdown” for AEW World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. So buckle up and enjoy this review written by Chris and Tikitaka. 

Singles Match

Jay White defeated “Hangman” Adam Page via Pinfall (16:20)

Chris/Jey says: Starting off with the opening contest as Jay White was able to defeat “Hangman” Adam Page. Since he made his triumphant return, the leader of the Bang Bang Gang had one thing on his mind….Revenge against the man who took him out. This match was very personal as he got injured because of the Lone Cowboy. The match itself was well executed as it was just counter after counter. This was the start of a good face turn push for Jay White as the leader of the Bang Bang Gang became victorious scratching off one of the problems that was in his way. Is this feud over? Who knows, but one thing is for Jay White journey starts now.

Tiki says: and we start off the Wrestledream 2024 Premium Live Event with a very good matchup, a lot people have been waiting for. It's "Hangman" Adam Page vs. "Switchblade" Jay White... This match has been a long time coming with Jay White waiting for the right moment. It was a good and solid match as expected, and finally a good match for Jay White at All Elite Wrestling. remember the guy, joined the Company as the hottest free agent in the World coming in hot from his NJPW run. Meanwhile, "Hangman" has been one of the best Wrestlers at AEW for a long time now. Jay White won the match, and will most likely now move on to Christian Cage as his next opponent.. but is "Hangman" done with "Switchblade"? We know Adam Page... and we know he makes the decisions.....

AEW World Women’s Championship Singles Match

Mariah May defeated Willow Nightingale via Pinfall (10:50)

Chris/Jey says: The Second Match of the Night was AEW Women’s Championship match between Champion Mariah May against Challenger Willow Nightingale. Myself, along with the other members of the AEW Galaxy expected this match to be the Co-Main Event. I even expected the return of “Timeless” Toni Storm. Willow was always one of my favorite superstars among the AEW’s Women’s Division. She has been improving especially on the mic. Nonetheless, Willow wasn’t able to dethrone current AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May. One thing is for sure, it’s only a matter of time til Willow Nightingale wins the big. The question still remains, who’s next to step up and challenge Mariah May for the AEW Women’s Championship.

Tiki says: the second match of the Night is the AEW Women's Championship Match between Mariah May and Willow Nightingale. Many AEW and Wrestling Fans expected this match to be the Co-Main Event of the evening with a possible return of "Timeless" Toni Storm. Willow has become one of my favorite Female Wrestlers in the World over the last 2 years and she's always improving so it should be only a matter of time that the Fan Favorite of the AEW Crowd wins a World Championship but at Wrestledream Mariah May retained her Championship Gold and is still the AEW Women's Champion. Who will step up next against Mariah May? (note: i don't spoil what has happened in the following episodes :) so we leave that open here :D )

AEW TNT Championship Singles Match

Jack Perry (C) defeated Katusyori Shibata via Pinfall (9:20)

Chris/Jey says: This next match of the Scapegoat’s time to shine as he took on The Wrestler for the TNT Championship. The feud was executed extremely well as Shibata was the right person to feud with Jack Perry. I’m really enjoying The Scapegoat Gimmick as it fits him so well and is an excellent addition to The Elite. The change of character was probably the greatest decision creatively Jack Perry was able to retain against Katsuyori Shibata. I have no idea what’s next for The Wrestler nor The Scapegoat, but it will be interesting to see where they take their arc’s respectively. 

Tiki says: Time for the Scapegoat against The Wrestler for the TNT Championship. This feud has been built pretty well over the last couple of weeks and Shibata is a great opponent for Jack Perry who has been amazing since his return to All Elite Wrestling. The Scapegoat Gimmick is one of the best decisions from a creative direction that could have been made for Jack Perry, from Jungle Boy to the guy who only cares about himself. so well done to the AEW and NJPW Creative and Writers, we have to mention that because we love Pro Wrestling! It was a good match between the two Wrestlers as expected. Jack Perry won, and is still your/our TNT Champion.

Three-Way Match for the AEW International Championship 

Konosuke Takeshita (w Don Callis) defeated Will Ospreay (C) and Ricochet via Pinfall (20:45) >>> TITLECHANGE!!!

Chris/Jey says: This next match was a STUPENDOUS banger. Konosuke Takeshita defeated Will Osprey and Ricochet to become the NEW AEW International Champion.I had my doubts about this match as I thought this was going to be predictable and boy was I wrong. We saw Konosuke Takeshita FINALLY win CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD!

Don’t get me wrong, Will Osprey has done an amazing job giving the belt meaning and putting on banger matches with the likes of PAC and MJF. This was a storyline in the making as we all saw the piece come into play. Will Osprey break away from the Don Callis family. I also liked how they incorporated his history with RIcochet as well. During the match, I was surprised that they pulled the trigger on Kyle Fletcher’s betrayal as it wasn’t expected. I’m also liking how Ricochet has been booked so far as he’s placed in a feud that he could actually relate to. From the looks of it, Osprey and Ricochet look to be taking on The Don Callis family in the near future as this rivalry is definitely far from over. 

Tiki says: Banger after Banger after Banger.... a little spoiler ahead of the Review of the following match, the next 3 matches will all get a good rating! It was time for the Three Way Match for the AEW International Championship and the question, if Konosuke Takeshita will finally be able to win Championship Gold.

 

Will Ospreay has done an amazing job putting the Belt at the top of the AEW Roster, with great feuds and great matches almost every week. and he deserves all the praise he is getting from Wrestling Fans all around the world, but so does also Konosuke Takeshita... if you follow AEW you will notice how good this guy really is and how solid he can handle almost every situation so it was coming that he will win Singles Gold under the guidance of Don Callis. but there is also another guy, who could be a great Champion for AEW... Ricochet... since his arrival at AEW Ricochet has been booked pretty good and had some great matches already putting him in a good spot to win the International Championship in the Future... why do i say in the Future?  Because at WrestleDream someone else became the Champion and a new feud has been unlocked with a major heel turn. 

Kyle Fletcher turned against his best Friend Will Ospreay and attacked him very bad which caused Ospreay losing the International Championship.... the Fletcher vs. Ospreay feud could be one of the best ones at AEW yet.. your winner, and the new AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita. Congrats and thank you for this awesome match!!!

Two out of three falls Match

Hologram defeated “The Beast” Mortos 2-1 (16:40)

Chris/Jey says: In this next match-up the Luchardors of AEW prove to show you why the best wrestle here. This was definitely a Lucha-Tastic match as Hologram defeated “The Beast” Mortos.Formerly going by Black Taurus his performance in the company has been spectacular. I can definitely say the same for his opponent Hologram who remains undefeated. AEW fans are in for a treat as the two Luchardors are going to be future champions in All Elite Wrestling. I would definitely love to see these two superstars run it back again. Not going to lie, I sometimes question why TNA let “The Beast” Mortos go after he was doing some well with them. Nonetheless, it was great seeing “The Beast” Mortos on my screen again. 

Tiki says: It was time for the Two out of three falls Luchador sensation match! at least that's what i call it after actually seeing it. Before I continue my short review about it, please watch the match! The Best Mortos has become one of the Fan Favorites of the AEW Fans, with great performances in every match, he deserves a big push in the future. His opponent in this Match is Hologram who is still undefeated since debuting (if i'm not wrong here). If you watch AEW you know that this match will be good and what can i say? It was an amazing match! Hologram was able to defeat the Beast Mortos and we will see if these two will have another match very soon with the great chemistry they had.

Singles Match

Darby Allin defeated Brody King via Pinfall (12:20)

Chris/Jey says: It’s now time for another tale in the rivalry between Darby Allin and Brody King. This feud originates from Evolve 99 which ended in a draw. Afterward it has spilled in AEW from singles matches to tag team matches with each wrestler trading off wins. As this rivalry ended, it had Darby Allin come out on top. The show of respect at the end had gotten intrigued to what’s next. Curious to see what’s next as an Allegiance between the two rivals were teased. I’m definitely interested to see what next for The House of Black as hopefully we see them turn over a new leaf. 

Tiki says: it was time for another Chapter in the Feud between Darby Allin and Brody King. why do i say this? Because this one goes beyond All Elite Wrestling, time for a little Match-History Lesson? 2018 Darby Allin and Brody King had their first Match against each other at Evolve 99 which ended in a Time Limit Draw and this was the start of (now) 11 other matches (12 overall) both Superstars have participated... Tag Matches, Royal Rampage and 6 (with this one) Singles Matches. Every match between these two was solid and they have built a great chemistry over 6 years of having matches against each other. Darby was the winner this evening but.. that was not the most interesting part... after the Match both Wrestlers finally had a handshake and this could open some interesting new storylines in the future.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match

The Young Bucks (C) defeated Private Party via Pinfall (15:50)

Chris/Jey says: The only tag team match on the main card of WrestleDream was the AEW World Tag Team Championships as the EVP’s took on Private Party. The challengers have been receiving a big push as of late and I’m really liking how they are booked. During the match, both teams put on quite the performance as the high flying action took place. At one point in the match we saw shots of Top Flight and Stokely Hathaway in the crowd. Speaking of Stokely, he has been trying to recruit Private Party for weeks, but the team refused his management. The EVP’s retained, but the up and coming Private Party put up quite the fight. Special thanks to The Young Bucks for trying to put them over like they should.

Tiki says: the one and only Tag Team Match on the Main Card of Wrestledream is for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, which means the EVP's are in action! The Young Bucks vs. Private Party has become a very solid feud that fans enjoy a lot. It looks like both teams can bring out the best out of each other to perform on a different level. so, we expect a great match... and it was a great Tag Team Match! The Young Bucks retained their Tag Team Championships but I think this isn't the last time we will see the Private Party challenge for the Tag Team Gold. They have become one of my favorite tag teams and they have a bright future ahead of them. also big shout out to the Young Bucks, who did everything to put them even more over during the match.

Ring of Honor World Championship Singles Match

Mark Briscoe (C) defeated “the learning Tree” Chris Jericho via Pinfall (15:20)

Chris/Jey says: In this championship match Chris Jericho has made a habit of saying Jay Briscoe’s name in vain. This feud between Leader of the Learning Tree and brother Mark Briscoe has become way too personal. So the question has been asked, can Chris Jericho win another world Championship? As for the match, it was chaotic. A referee bump occurred and out came The Bounty Hunter Bryan Keith, luckily Rocky Romero came out to even the odds. The Learning Tree and The Conglomeration came to a head, helping Mark Briscoe retain the prestigious Ring of Honor Championship. Mark Briscoe has done a wonderful job making the Ring of Honor championship mean something in AEW. Without saying anything, it seems like we’re in for another go around  

Tiki says: Can Chris Jericho win another World Championship? this was one of the questions of the night and it was time to finally get an answer! Mark Briscoe has been the Ring of Honor World Champion for 190 days (at WrestleDream) after winning it against Eddie Kingston at Supercard of Honor 2024. It was a good match between Jericho and Briscoe, Jericho who is an artist in reinventing himself over and over again showed once again why many people actually think he belongs to the best Wrestlers of our Generation. Mark Briscoe did an amazing Job as the ROH World Champion over the last couple of months and he was able to retain the Championship at WrestleDream against Chris Jericho. great match but it looks like this wasn't the last time these two will face each other in Singles competition. (note: if you watched the following Dynamites and Collisions you know what's going on, but no spoilers here from my side).

AEW World Championship Singles Match

Jon Moxley (with Marina Shafir) defeated Bryan Danielson (C) via Technical Submission (referee stoppage) (27:00)

Chris/Jey says: The Main Event of the evening saw Bryan Danielson, one of the best wrestlers in the world defend the AEW World Heavyweight Championship against former friend and ally Jon Moxley. You could also say that this was the start of the war between Blackpool Combat Club and AEW. The question still remains which side will Wheeler Yuta choose. 

Last month Jon Moxley returned and was on mission along with Marina Shafir. At last month's PPV ALL-OUT it became clear that the BCC wanted to take over the company and cut off the head of the snake starting with Bryan Danielson. Moxley goaded Darby Allin into defending his title shot and eventually won thanks to interference from Marina Shafir. Fast forward to Wrestle Dream as Jon Moxley defeated Bryan, due in part to Marina Shafir once again. The match was cinematic as Bryan attempted to overcome the odds. In the aftermath of the match itself, Claudio and Pac enter the ring attacking Bryan only to be saved by Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allinl.Now here’s where things get interesting: Wrestling Fans.

When we think Wheeler Yuta is going to help fend off the BCC, BAM! Bryan’s wrestling son clubs Darby Allin and they tie him up to the turnbuckle. Yuta suffocates Bryan without hesitation as we are in shock and awe. Talk about Cinema. The locker room spills out and the ending shot is Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin looking dismayed that they couldn’t do anything to stop this. Now the only question is, who steps up to lead AEW against Jon Moxley and BCC? Only time will tell as the story is just popping off.

Overall, as a wrestling fan myself, I do hope this isn’t Bryan Danielson’s last rodeo. I’ll really miss him becoming a Full-time wrestler, but perhaps this is for the best. If anything, if he does return, he should get his revenge match against the BCC. Regardless, Thank you Bryan Danielson for making us Wrestling Fans Again!

Tiki says: Main Event Time at WrestleDream and maybe the last match for one of the best Wrestlers in the World. Bryan Danielson vs Jon Moxley, the battle of the Blackpool Combat Club and the question if Wheeler Yuta is Bryan’s friend or his enemy...

Jon Moxley returned to All Elite Wrestling with a mission, at this moment writing the review still nobody knows who's the secret person behind all of this.. who caused this and who made Jon Moxley turn against his friend Bryan Danielson. But before we start with the match review we need to explain the whole story and how Jon Moxley became the Chance to challenge Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. Jon Moxley only had one opportunity to get a title shot against Danielson and that was by defeating Darby Allin at Dynamite Grandslam. Moxley made the challenge, Darby accepted but was unable to beat Moxley after multiple outside interferences during the match and Marina Shafir who played an important part by distracting Allin. "Mox" became the new #1 Contender and will have a match against Danielson at the Wrestledream PLE.

so... it was time for the between two of the biggest superstars of the Company and maybe Danielson's last match (at least for now...) he made a promise that he will stop his full time Professional Wrestling career due to his neck injury the moment he loses the AEW World Championship. 

It was a good match between Moxley and Danielson but like the Darby Allin Match and all the other Blackpool Combat Club Matches in the past weeks there was outside interference and Danielson was basically alone against a whole group of people. The only chance was Wheeler Yuta who looked like he will be on Danielsons side, but.... he also turned against Danielson.

Jon Moxley was able to defeat Bryan Danielson who was unable to defend himself anymore. After the match the Blackpool Combat Club continued their attack against Danielson.. the AEW Lockeroom tried to help but it was too late. the PLE ends with Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin heartbroken at Ringside.

As a fan you still hope that Bryan Danielson will have another match before retirement at some point when he's healthy again and able to Wrestle. we had a lot rumors in the past weeks that his Neck has become very bad, and this was also the reason why he hasn't signed a new contract with AEW. he made a promise to his family and to his fans, to stop with his full time career if the Neck will cause more problems. so.. as a fan I wanna say thank you to Bryan Danielson for all the matches, all the moments he created for us in his career, the Wrestlemania moment he gave us that touched the heart of almost every Wrestling Fan around the world and his mission to help improve All Elite Wrestling. The American Dragon is one of the best Wrestlers of our Generation, if not the best. #ThankYouDanielson #ThankYouBryan
