Seventh, after laying out Sami Zayn last week after refusing Seth Rollins’ offer, we pray that we find out what’s next for Paul Heyman’s new FACTION as we shall see if new RECRUITS will be added to this ALLIANCE! Additionally, after REFUSING Seth Rollins’ offer, we pray which SUPERSTARS will JOIN his fight against Seth Rollins and his unknown faction! Eight, being AMBUSHED by both Roxanne Perez and Giulia last week, we pray that we find out Rhea Ripley will RETALIATE against the RECENT NXT Call-Ups! StrikeForce Squadron (Season One) Episode Four: Devil With The Devil

The soft clang of metal against metal echoed through the training room, a rhythmic sound that had become almost familiar to Eve in the weeks since she'd joined the team. Each strike, each movement, felt like a tiny piece of the puzzle falling into place. She was learning quickly—faster than she had anticipated—but it still wasn't enough. Not yet.

Eve ducked under a simulated strike, rolling to her feet with a fluid motion that surprised even her. She wasn't entirely sure when her training had shifted from a constant struggle to a dance, but here she was, seamlessly moving with the precision of someone who had been doing this for years. The digital combat trainers that surrounded her made her sweat, their virtual opponents designed to test every limit she had. She could hear Zeke's voice in her earpiece.

"Keep your guard up, Eve. Anticipate the moves before they happen. You've got to be two steps ahead."

She exhaled sharply, tightening her grip on the training blade. For weeks, the team had been pushing her to adapt to the world of Nexus Kaiju combat, and while her agility and speed had always been her strengths, learning how to fight like this—precise, calculated, and efficient—was another thing entirely.

Her heart raced as she faced off against the next opponent in the simulation. It was a hulking figure, a Kaiju twice her size, charging toward her with a swing that could flatten anything in its path. Without thinking, Eve sidestepped, launching herself into a spin, her foot connecting with the creature's side and sending it stumbling back.

"Good," Blaze's voice came through, calm as always. "But remember to focus your power on your legs. You're faster than you think. Use it."

She nodded, sweat dripping down her temple as she reset her stance. Another wave of opponents came charging, and Eve fought through them with newfound strength and confidence. The hits were starting to feel less like a struggle and more like second nature.

Meanwhile, Ray, grounded as always, was at home. He spent his days either sulking or sneaking out when he could, but tonight, the training was focused on Eve. She was new, but she was adapting quickly, and it made Ray's jealousy flare even as he stayed in his room. It wasn't just about Kaiju battles—he had to admit there was something to this whole teamwork thing that made him feel out of place. Still, he could sense the team's growth, and that meant they were getting closer to facing the real dangers ahead.

The montage shifted, showing Eve's progress over the past few weeks. Now, she wasn't just dodging and striking. She was learning to work as part of the team—moving in sync with Zeke, understanding his signals before he gave them, and keeping up with his tactical genius. She was evolving into someone who could stand beside him, Ray, and the others without feeling like the new recruit. In the sparring sessions, she was learning how to work in tandem with Zeke, setting up traps for the virtual enemies that only worked because they were thinking as one.

Her mind began to slow, the chaos of training settling into something more controlled. Each opponent, each strike, had a purpose—defeat the threat before it could reach you. It was instinctive now. Her speed was her advantage, but now, precision came alongside it. And as the final opponent in her training sequence raised its sword in preparation for a final strike, Eve ducked low, sweeping its legs out from under it and pinning it to the ground.

"Good," Blaze said again, a rare hint of approval in his voice. "That's the kind of focus we need."

Eve paused, wiping her brow with the back of her arm. She wasn't tired, not physically, but emotionally, there was a weight to all of this. Training was constant, pushing her limits, but the real battle—the real challenge—was still ahead. The Kaiju, Zechs Industries, and everything in between.

Still, as she stood in the quiet of the training room, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was ready. At least, ready for what came next.

As Eve finished her training, Ray's day of grounding was just beginning. His frustration festered as he listened to his mother, Clara, lecture him for the third week in a row about curfew, but his thoughts were elsewhere. The city was restless tonight, and the team would need all their skills. Little did he know that restlessness was about to become their reality.

Eve sat on the edge of her bed, the soft hum of her phone vibrating in her pocket, barely registering in her mind. The past few weeks had felt like a blur—a whirlwind of new faces, strange missions, and the constant pull between her past and this bizarre new life as a member of the team. She was still getting used to being part of something bigger than herself. It was hard, adjusting to a world where everything seemed to be in constant motion, and where nothing ever felt quite as simple as it used to be.

At the same time, there was an undeniable thrill to it. It wasn't the adrenaline of fighting or the rush of battle that she liked—it was the feeling of belonging. Even though she wasn't entirely sure where she fit in just yet, she had found herself starting to care about the people around her. Zeke, with his comedic demeanor and nerdy mind. Ray, with his rebellious streak and surprising heart. Still, the weight of the mission always loomed, pushing everyone forward.

Tonight, though, wasn't about the mission. Tonight, Ray was grounded. Again.

Eve glanced down at the phone in her hand. Ray's latest mistake—coming home late for the third week in a row—had earned him an indefinite grounding. She couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He always seemed to be the one getting into trouble, but it wasn't all his fault. If only they could all escape their complicated lives for a night. Just one night.

Across town, Ray's mom, Marian, was trying to forget all about her son's latest mess-up. She was out with Jovan again, something that had become increasingly frequent as they grew closer. Their relationship was still in its early stages, but it was clear there was a spark between them. Jovan had been a constant presence in her life ever since the Nexus disaster began, and Marian had found comfort in his steadiness. Tonight, they were having dinner at a quiet, upscale restaurant, trying to enjoy each other's company away from the chaos that defined their everyday lives.

Jovan smiled across the table, swirling his wine glass as they discussed the future, both theirs and the team's. "I think we're making progress with the new project," he said, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Zechs Industries is backing us. Soon, we'll have the resources we need to really make a difference."

Marian nodded, trying to focus on the conversation, but her mind kept wandering to Ray. She couldn't help but worry. She had always wanted the best for him, but as of late, he seemed to be drifting further from the path she hoped he'd follow.

Meanwhile, in the heart of the city, Zeke and Eve were preparing for something much more urgent. A new Kaiju mutant had been spotted—a deadly creation of Zechs Industries—and this one was different from the others. A female Kaiju, sleek and deadly, her form shifting in ways that made her impossible to predict.

Zeke stood at Eve's side, his usual calm focus never wavering as he assessed the situation. "Lady Dev," he muttered, his voice barely audible over the distant sounds of chaos. "This one's been designed for stealth. If we don't act fast, she could do some serious damage."

"You sure like giving the villains nicknames." Eve exclaimed as she pulled out her StrikeForce Morpher. "Time to go to work." She continued as she looked at Zeke who had already pulled out his StrikeForce Morpher.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Ray's grounded which means, I'm second in command." Zeke tells Eve as she rolls.

Eve nodded, her pulse quickening. She wasn't afraid, but there was a weight to the situation, one that pressed down on her chest with every passing second.

"Whatever. STRIKEFORCE ARMOR ON!" Eve yells as her Yellow Armor latches on to her.
"What is she.....Ugh....STRIKEFORCE ARMOR ON!" Zeke yells as his blue attaches to him as he follows her.

The mutant Kaiju, Lady Dev, struck quickly, using her speed and agility to launch a series of attacks on the surrounding buildings. Her movements were almost graceful, but her power was undeniable. As she tore through the streets, Zeke and Eve gave chase, determined to stop her before more damage could be done.

Unbeknownst to them, Marian and Jovan were seated just inside a window of the restaurant, their meal interrupted as they witnessed the monstrous battle unfold right outside. Glass shattered, and screams filled the air as Lady Dev made her appearance.

Marian's hand trembled as she gripped the edge of the table, her eyes wide with horror. "Ray," she whispered under her breath, her mind racing back to her son, who had been grounded just hours before.

Inside Ray's home, things were escalating in an entirely different way. Four Nexus soldiers, sent by Jovan himself, had arrived at the front door, determined to deal with Ray's supposed transgressions. Ray had been on edge all evening, his frustration bubbling over as he watched the fight unfold on his phone.

At first, he wasn't sure whether to make a break for it or stay put, but then the sound of the door crashing open made his decision for him. The soldiers stepped into the hallway, weapons drawn, but Ray was already moving. His reflexes were fast, and before the soldiers even had time to react, they were on the ground, incapacitated. One by one, Ray took them down with precision—no hesitation, no mercy.

As the last soldier crumpled to the floor, Ray quickly grabbed his phone again, his eyes narrowing. The fight between Zeke, Eve, and Lady Dev was reaching its peak, and he couldn't just sit by anymore. With a quick glance at the chaos outside, he knew what he had to do.

In a burst of energy, Ray slipped out of his house, making his way towards the restaurant.

"STRIKEFORCE ARMOR-ON!" Ray yells as he jumps out of his window, sneaking out from his bedroom window.

By the time Ray arrived, Zeke and Eve were locked in the final confrontation with Lady Dev. The mutant was growing weaker as the trio coordinated their attacks, their teamwork undeniable. With a well-placed strike, Lady Dev faltered, and before anyone knew it, she was on the ground, returning to her human form—her mutation undone.

The battle was over, but the aftermath was far from quiet.

As the trio caught their breath, Ray's phone buzzed again. It was Marian, texting him from the restaurant. She had seen everything, and the fear in her words was palpable. She had no idea what had just happened, but she knew one thing: Jovan's true nature was starting to reveal itself. The fight they had witnessed wasn't the first of its kind.

Ray quickly glanced at Zeke and Eve, then back at the phone. They'd won, but at what cost? As he arrived back at the house just ahead of Marian and Jovan, his instincts screamed that something was terribly wrong.

The door creaked open, and just as Ray stepped inside, Jovan, with his ever-composed demeanor, raised his gun and shot one of his employees in cold blood.

Ray froze, his breath catching in his chest with an unspoken realization. The fight had only just begun.

Megaman Battle Network Warrior (Season One) Episode 6: Deal With The Devil (Part Two)

Chris stood on the dimly lit sidewalk, his gaze fixed on Roberto’s retreating figure. His friend’s shoulders were hunched, his steps slow but deliberate, as though each one carried the weight of the world. Chris clenched his fists, his PSP buzzing faintly in his pocket, as if even Megaman could feel his frustration.

“Roberto, wait!” Chris called out, but Roberto didn’t look back.

Sonic’s voice, faint but clear, echoed through Roberto’s device. “Sorry, Chris. He needs some space.”

Chris sighed, lowering his hand. “Space isn’t what we need right now,” he muttered to himself.

The lab was unusually quiet when Chris arrived, the faint hum of machinery the only sound. Dr. Light was at his usual place by the holographic console, but his demeanor was more solemn than usual. Noah was there too, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, his face a mask of concern.

“Chris,” Dr. Light began, his voice calm yet firm, “I understand how you’re feeling, but Roberto needs time to process everything. Pushing him now might only drive him further away.”

Chris shook his head, pacing back and forth. “But he’s my best friend! We’ve always been in this together. I can’t just leave him out there alone, especially now with the Disney villains pulling every dirty trick they can.”

Noah stepped forward, placing a hand on Chris’s shoulder. “I get it, man, I really do. But think about Roberto. He’s been thrown into this crazy world of battles, villains, and saving Gameworld—a world he didn’t even sign up for. It’s a lot to take in.”

Chris looked down, the weight of Noah’s words settling in. “So what am I supposed to do? Just let him walk away?”

Dr. Light adjusted his glasses, his tone thoughtful. “Sometimes, Chris, the best way to help someone is to let them find their own path. Roberto isn’t lost; he’s just… searching. And when he’s ready, he’ll find his way back. Until then, you must focus on the mission.”

Chris let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing the back of his neck. “Fine. I’ll wait. But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.”

As Chris leaned against one of the lab tables, Megaman’s holographic form appeared next to him, his expression sympathetic.

“You know Roberto better than anyone,” Megaman said. “If there’s one thing I’ve learned about you two, it’s that your friendship is strong enough to withstand anything. He just needs time, like Dr. Light said.”

Chris looked at Megaman, his frustration giving way to a faint smile. “Thanks, buddy. I guess I just hate feeling useless.”

“You’re not useless,” Noah chimed in. “You’re the glue holding this team together. And right now, we’ve got bigger problems to focus on. Roberto wouldn’t want you to stop fighting just because he needs a break.”

Chris nodded, his resolve strengthening. “You’re right. I’ll keep fighting. For Roberto. For everyone.”

Dr. Light smiled, a rare moment of warmth breaking through his usually serious demeanor. “That’s the spirit, Chris. Now, let’s prepare for the next step. The Disney villains won’t wait for us to sort out our personal struggles.”

Meanwhile, Roberto sat on a bench in the park, his PSP lying dormant in his lap. The night was quiet, the stars above barely visible through the haze of city lights.

“I don’t know if I can keep doing this,” Roberto murmured, staring at his reflection in the darkened screen of his PSP.

Sonic’s voice broke the silence, calm but insistent. “Roberto, you’re stronger than you think. This isn’t just about you anymore. It’s about everyone who’s counting on us.”

Roberto shook his head. “I didn’t sign up to be some kind of hero. I just wanted to play games and hang out with my friends. Now it feels like every decision I make could destroy everything.”

Sonic’s tone softened. “Maybe that’s true. But you don’t have to do it alone. You’ve got Chris, Noah, and me. And whether you believe it or not, they’re not giving up on you.”

Roberto looked up at the stars, his thoughts racing. “I just… I need to figure out who I am in all this. What’s my role?”

As he sat there in silence, a shadow flickered across the park, unnoticed. In the distance, a pair of glowing green eyes watched him from the darkness.

Back in Gameworld, the virtual horizon pulsed with faint waves of energy, glowing brighter as Sonic wandered along the edge of the Ocean Zone. The calming sound of digital waves crashing against pixelated shores was interrupted by a chilling breeze that carried an unsettling presence.

Sonic stopped, his instincts kicking in. “Alright, who’s there? Come out and show yourself!”

From the darkness, Hades, the Greek god of the underworld, emerged with a sly grin, his flaming blue hair casting an eerie glow. He adjusted the cuffs of his black toga, his eyes narrowing as he regarded Sonic with feigned amusement.

“Relax, hedgehog. No need to get your quills in a twist,” Hades drawled, his tone smooth and taunting. “I’m just here to have a little chat. A business proposal, if you will.”

Sonic crossed his arms, his posture defiant. “Yeah, no thanks. Whatever you’re selling, I’m not buying.”

Hades chuckled, shaking his head. “Oh, come on, now. Don’t be like that. You’ve got spunk, Sonic, I’ll give you that. And let’s face it—you’re a hero who’s always stuck cleaning up other people’s messes. Don’t you ever get tired of it?”

Sonic raised an eyebrow. “What’s your point, Hades?”

Hades stepped closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “What if I told you there’s a way to stop the fighting? No more battles, no more chaos, no more endless running to save the day. All you have to do is join me. With your speed and skills, we’d be unstoppable. Think about it: peace, power, and freedom from all the hassle.”

Sonic’s eyes narrowed. “And all I have to do is betray my friends, right? Yeah, no deal. Try someone else.”

Hades sighed dramatically, snapping his fingers. “I was hoping you’d see reason. Guess I’ll just have to... speed things up a bit.”

Before Sonic could react, tendrils of dark energy erupted from the ground, coiling around him like chains. He struggled, his speed failing to outrun the sinister magic.

“What the—?!” Sonic yelled, his body freezing in place as the energy seeped into him.

Hades’s grin widened as Sonic’s struggles ceased, his bright, defiant eyes dimming into a cold, lifeless gaze. “There we go. Much better.”

Back in the real world, Roberto sat on the park bench, still lost in thought. Suddenly, a sharp, cold pain shot through his chest. He gasped, clutching at his heart as a shadowy aura began to swirl around him.

“What’s... happening?” Roberto stammered, his voice trembling.

The dark energy from Sonic in Gameworld had crossed dimensions, finding its way to Roberto. As it seeped into him, his mind clouded, his memories of friendship and loyalty twisting into something darker.

In his mind’s eye, he saw flashes of distorted images: Chris standing in his way, Noah doubting him, and the Disney villains offering power and recognition.

“You were never meant to be second best,” a voice whispered, seductive and chilling.

Roberto’s breathing grew heavy as the darkness consumed him, his hands trembling with newfound strength—and malice.

Back in the shadowy lair of the Disney villains, Hades appeared with a flourish, his flaming hair flaring with excitement. Maleficent turned to him, her expression calm but expectant.

“Well?” she asked.

Hades smirked. “Oh, it’s done, sweetheart. The hedgehog’s gone dark, and his gamer? Let’s just say he’s finally seeing things our way. Roberto’s all primed and ready for you to reel him in.”

Maleficent’s lips curled into a satisfied smile. “Excellent. With Roberto’s heart darkened, he’ll be the perfect pawn to bring Chris and the others to their knees. And Sonic? Well, he’ll serve as a reminder that even the brightest heroes can fall.

At the lab, Chris was staring at his PSP when Megaman’s voice broke the silence. “Chris, are you okay?”

Chris frowned, a strange unease settling in his chest. “I don’t know, buddy. Something feels... off. Like Roberto’s in trouble.”

Noah, who was working at a nearby console, looked up. “What do you mean? Did something happen?”

Chris shook his head. “It’s hard to explain. It’s like I can feel it—he’s different somehow.”

Dr. Light turned from his workstation, his face serious. “Chris, if Roberto’s heart has been influenced by darkness, it’s imperative that we act quickly. The villains may have already made their move.”

Chris stood, determination burning in his eyes. “Then we’ll get him back. I’m not giving up on Roberto, no matter what.”

The next day at Kevin’s Place, a quiet hangout where the group usually met to play games and share laughs, tension filled the air. Chris arrived, his PSP in hand, but something felt... off. The usual lively energy of the spot was absent, replaced by an eerie stillness.

“Roberto?” Chris called out, stepping cautiously through the doorway.

From the shadows, Roberto emerged, his PSP clutched tightly. His eyes, once full of warmth and humor, now glinted with a cold, unsettling darkness. Standing at his side was Sonic, whose vibrant aura had been replaced with a menacing, shadowy glow.

Chris froze, his heart sinking. “Roberto, what’s going on? Why are you looking at me like that?”

Before Roberto could answer, Hades materialized behind him, his flaming hair flickering with amusement. “Oh, don’t take it personally, kid. Your buddy here just realized where his true loyalties lie. Isn’t that right, Roberto?”

Roberto’s jaw tightened as he activated his PSP. “I’m sorry, Chris... but I have no choice.”

The digital energy surged, and Roberto and Sonic began to cross fuse. Their forms shimmered with dark energy as they merged into a singular, imposing figure.

Chris took a step back, his PSP buzzing urgently. “Roberto, you don’t have to do this! We’re friends!”

Hades laughed, leaning lazily against the wall. “Oh, I love the drama. Keep begging, kid—it’s adorable. But let’s get to the main event, shall we?”

Chris gritted his teeth, reluctantly activating his own PSP. “If this is the only way to reach you, then so be it.”

The light enveloped Chris as he and Megaman cross fused, their combined form standing firm against Roberto’s darkened figure.

The room exploded into chaos as the two clashed, their weapons colliding with sparks of digital energy. Roberto’s attacks were relentless, each strike infused with Sonic’s raw speed and Roberto’s growing rage. Chris struggled to keep up, deflecting blow after blow with Megaman’s buster arm.

“Roberto, this isn’t you!” Chris shouted, ducking under a spinning kick. “You’re letting Hades control you!”

“I’m doing what I have to!” Roberto snapped back, his voice strained. He launched a flurry of attacks, each one pushing Chris further back.

As the battle raged on, Hades watched with a smirk, clearly enjoying the spectacle. “Well, this is fun and all, but I think it’s time we wrapped this up.”

He snapped his fingers, and the air around him shimmered. The god of the underworld began to materialize fully into the real world, his towering presence casting an ominous shadow over the room.

Chris glanced over his shoulder, his eyes widening. “Hades? You’re really crossing into the real world now?”

Hades grinned. “Why not? You kids are making it way too easy.”

Just as Hades was about to step into the fray, a bolt of energy shot through the room, forcing him to halt.

“Noah!” Chris shouted as Noah appeared, wielding a prototype energy weapon crafted by Dr. Light.

“Not so fast, Hades,” Noah said, his voice steady and defiant. “You’ve done enough damage already. If you want to get involved, you’ll have to go through me.”

Hades raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “Oh, this just keeps getting better. Alright, kid, let’s see what you’ve got.”

While Noah and Hades clashed, Chris and Roberto’s battle intensified. Each strike was filled with raw emotion, their words cutting as deeply as their attacks.

“Why are you doing this, Roberto?!” Chris shouted, blocking a devastating punch.

“Because I don’t know who I am anymore!” Roberto yelled back, his voice breaking. “Maybe this is who I’m supposed to be!”

Chris’s heart ached at the words, but he refused to give up. “That’s not true, and you know it! You’re my best friend, Roberto. I’ll fight you if I have to, but I won’t stop trying to save you!”

The air in Kevin’s Place was electric with tension as Chris and Roberto’s battle reached its peak. Sparks flew with every collision of their weapons, and the ground beneath them cracked under the force of their strikes. Both combatants were battered, but neither was willing to yield.

Chris struggled to find an opening. Each of Roberto’s attacks came faster and stronger, the dark energy amplifying Sonic’s natural speed. Roberto lunged forward, his blade aimed directly at Chris’s chest.

“Roberto, stop!” Chris yelled, barely managing to block. “This isn’t you! Fight it!”

“You don’t understand!” Roberto shouted back, his voice thick with frustration and despair. “This is who I have to be now. There’s no going back!”

Their weapons locked, Roberto pushed harder, his strength fueled by his inner turmoil. Chris’s knees buckled, his grip on Megaman’s buster faltering.

“Don’t make me do this,” Chris said, his voice trembling. “You’re my best friend, Roberto. I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You’re too late,” Roberto hissed, his eyes glinting with the dark influence that clouded his heart. He raised his blade for the final strike, ready to end the fight.

Inside the digital fusion, Sonic’s spirit stirred. The darkness that had consumed him cracked under the weight of Roberto’s despair.

“Sonic?” Roberto’s voice echoed in the void of his mind.

From within, Sonic’s voice called out, faint but resolute. “Roberto... don’t do this. You’re better than this.”

The dark energy wavered as Sonic’s will pushed against it. A surge of blue light erupted within Roberto, his connection to Sonic reigniting.

“Sonic?” Roberto whispered, his grip on the blade faltering.

“You’re not alone,” Sonic said firmly. “We’ve always fought for what’s right. Don’t let this darkness take that away from us.”

As Roberto hesitated, the dark energy binding him shattered like glass. Sonic’s pure light overwhelmed the darkness, flooding Roberto with clarity.

“Roberto!” Chris shouted, seizing the moment to push his friend back.

Roberto stumbled, his weapon slipping from his hand. He collapsed to his knees, gasping for breath as the dark aura dissipated. Sonic materialized beside him, his usual confident grin replaced with a look of quiet relief.

Chris lowered his weapon cautiously, his voice soft. “Roberto... are you okay?”

Roberto looked up, his eyes filled with remorse. “Chris... I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to—”

Before he could finish, Chris pulled him into a hug, holding him tightly. “It’s okay. You’re back now. That’s all that matters.”

As the tension lifted, Sonic stood beside Roberto, placing a hand on his shoulder. “We’ve got your back, buddy. Always.”

Chris helped Roberto to his feet, the two exchanging a small, knowing nod.

In the distance, the battle between Noah and Hades raged on, but for now, Chris and Roberto’s bond had survived the storm.

Noah squared off against Hades in the chaotic remains of Kevin’s Place. The god of the underworld stood lazily, his flaming blue hair flickering as he smirked. He clapped mockingly, slow and deliberate.

“Well, look at you,” Hades said, gesturing to Noah’s energy weapon. “Standing up to me with your little glow stick. Adorable, really. But let’s not kid ourselves. You’re way out of your league, kid.”

Noah tightened his grip, his stance steady. “Maybe. But you’re not as invincible as you think, Hades.”

Hades raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh? Big words. Let’s see if you can back them up.”

The air crackled as Hades summoned a ball of searing flames, tossing it lazily between his hands. With a flick of his wrist, he launched the fireball at Noah, who dodged to the side, rolling into a crouch and firing a bolt of energy back at the god.

The blast struck Hades’s shoulder, making him stagger slightly. He glanced down at the scorched fabric of his toga, brushing it off with a look of mild annoyance.

“Okay, I’ll admit, you’ve got a little bite,” Hades said. “But let’s see how you handle the heat.”

Hades raised both hands, summoning fiery pillars that erupted around Noah, forcing him to leap and weave to avoid being engulfed. The intense heat singed the edges of his jacket, but Noah pressed on, firing precise shots at Hades to keep him on the defensive.

“Not bad, kid!” Hades called out, his tone mockingly cheerful. “You’ve got some moves. But you’re still playing checkers while I’m out here playing 4D chess.”

Noah gritted his teeth, refusing to be baited. He lunged forward, using a nearby piece of debris as cover to close the gap. With a swift strike, he swung his energy weapon at Hades.

The blade passed through Hades’s form, revealing it to be a projection. The real Hades materialized behind Noah, grabbing him by the shoulder.

“You’ve got guts, I’ll give you that,” Hades said, his voice low and menacing. “But here’s the thing: you’re dealing with a god. And gods don’t lose to mortals.”

Hades’s grip ignited with dark flames, sending a shockwave that threw Noah across the room. He hit the ground hard, his weapon skittering out of reach.

As Hades approached, his footsteps echoing ominously, Noah struggled to his feet, his resolve unshaken. “You think this is over?” Noah asked, his voice defiant despite the pain.

Hades stopped, tilting his head in amusement. “Oh, it’s over, alright. But I’ll let you in on a little secret: I’m not here to finish you off. Not yet, anyway. Consider this a warning. Stay out of my way, and maybe you’ll live long enough to regret it.”

A dark portal swirled open behind Hades, its energy pulsating with malevolence.

Noah clenched his fists, glaring at the god. “This isn’t the end, Hades.”

Hades stepped into the portal, his smirk never wavering. “Oh, I’m counting on it, kid. We’re just getting started.”

As the portal closed, Noah collapsed to his knees, exhausted but alive. Chris and Roberto rushed to his side, the tension from their own fight fading into concern for their friend.

“Noah!” Chris called out, helping him up. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” Noah said, brushing himself off. “But Hades... he’s stronger than I thought. He’s not going to stop until he gets what he wants.”

Roberto, still shaken from his own ordeal, nodded grimly. “Then we’ll stop him together.”

Chris placed a hand on Noah’s shoulder, his voice steady. “We’ve got each other’s backs. That’s all that matters.”

The trio returned to Dr. Light’s lab, a haven of whirring machinery and glowing monitors. Despite their exhaustion, the room buzzed with determination. Chris leaned against a console, his face grim as he processed the events of the day. Roberto stood nearby, his arms crossed, his expression a mix of anger and guilt.

Dr. Light turned from his workstation, concern etched across his face. “You all made it back in one piece, but this was too close. Hades is not to be underestimated.”

Noah nodded, wincing as he adjusted his jacket to cover the scorch marks. “He’s powerful. He could’ve finished me off if he wanted to. He’s playing a long game.”

Chris sighed, clenching his fists. “And it’s not just Hades. They’ve got a whole circle of villains working together. If we don’t step up, they’ll keep coming for us—and the real world.”

Roberto remained silent, his gaze fixed on the floor. Sonic, now fully restored, hovered beside him, his usual upbeat demeanor tempered with seriousness.

Dr. Light turned to Roberto. “How are you holding up? You went through a lot today.”

Roberto hesitated, then looked up, his eyes blazing with resolve. “I’m done sitting on the sidelines. What Hades and the Disney villains did to me... to Sonic... they turned me into a weapon against my own friends. I’m not going to let them get away with that.”

Chris stepped forward, a small smile breaking through his grim expression. “Does that mean what I think it means?”

Roberto nodded firmly. “I want in. I want to be part of the team. Not just to fight back, but to make sure no one else goes through what I did.”

Noah grinned, clapping Roberto on the back. “It’s about time you joined the party.”

Dr. Light nodded approvingly, his eyes twinkling. “We’ll need all the help we can get. Roberto, your skills and determination will be invaluable.”

As the group began discussing their next steps, the atmosphere in the lab shifted. Where there had been fear and doubt, there was now a sense of unity and purpose.

Chris held out his hand, and Roberto took it without hesitation. “Welcome to the team, Roberto.”

Sonic crossed his arms, a confident smirk on his face. “Let’s show these villains what we’re made of.”

The chapter closed with the four standing together in the lab, their resolve stronger than ever. Though the road ahead would be fraught with danger, they knew they could face it as a team.

But even as they planned their next move, a shadow loomed over the horizon. Somewhere, the Disney villain circle plotted their next attack, and the darkness continued to spread.

StrikeForce Squadron (Season One) Episode Three: Sins of the Father

Ray and Zeke leaned against Eve's locker, grinning like they'd just won a championship. Eve stood in front of them, wiping the remnants of her lunch off her hands as the two friends beamed at her.

"Thanks again for helping take down Vagrak," Zeke said, his voice full of admiration.

Ray nodded in agreement. "You were amazing out there, Eve. We couldn't have done it without you."

Eve shrugged, trying to brush off their praise, but a faint smile tugged at her lips. "I was just doing what needed to be done."

Ray and Zeke exchanged a glance. They'd been thinking about this ever since the battle with Vagrak, the dangerous Kaiju who had almost destroyed Amusement Park. They'd seen Eve in action, and she had something special. Something they needed.

"We've been talking," Ray began, stepping forward. "We think you'd be a perfect fit for the STRIKE program."

Eve's eyes narrowed. "I don't know if that's really my thing," she said, shaking her head. "I don't need any of that."

Zeke stepped in, trying a different angle. "We're not just talking about powers and weapons, Eve. It's about making a difference. Helping others."

Eve hesitated, but the walls around her heart were still firmly in place. "I don't need a team," she muttered, avoiding their gazes. "I've got my own life to handle."

Ray and Zeke exchanged disappointed looks but didn't push her any further. They'd tried. Maybe in time she'd come around.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Eve hurriedly grabbed her books and darted out the door. Without thinking, Ray and Zeke followed her, determined to know more about this mysterious girl who had already saved their lives once. The walk to her house wasn't long, but it was a far cry from the well-kept streets of their neighborhood. They found themselves in a part of the city Ray wasn't familiar with—run-down buildings, graffiti-covered walls, and the smell of decay in the air.

During the walk, Eve remembered her being taken away by the adoption agency when she was a child. The sight of her mother laying on the floor horrified her as the flashback continues to her life with her foster family who were rich and treated her like the daughter they never had. She remembered her biological father being taken away by the police as he tried to attack her daughter as well. In the present day Zeke and Ray watch from a safe distance.

"This is... rough," Zeke muttered, glancing around nervously.

Ray nodded, keeping a safe distance as they trailed behind Eve. She stopped in front of a small, crumbling house at the end of the street. The paint on the door was chipped, the windows cracked, and there was an unmistakable sense of despair hanging in the air.

Before they could process the scene, Ray's phone buzzed in his pocket. It was a text from Blaze.

"You need to stay with her. Eve's father is out of jail, and he's looking for her."

Ray's heart sank. The message was clear—Eve was in danger, and they needed to protect her.

Ray turned to Zeke, his face serious. "We stay and make sure she's okay."

Zeke nodded, eyes wide with realization. "She doesn't deserve to be living like this... and her dad—he's trouble."

As they hid behind a dumpster nearby, watching Eve walk inside, Blaze sent over a file with Eve's history. Ray's heart raced as he opened it, reading through the tragic details.

Eve's past wasn't one she ever talked about, and the file explained why. Her mother had struggled with addiction, and Eve had been the one left to pick up the pieces. Ray felt a pang of guilt for not understanding sooner.

Just as he closed the file, Eve stormed out the front door, her face twisted in anger.

"What the hell are you two doing?" she demanded. "Spying on me? I don't need your help! I don't need anyone's help!"

Ray opened his mouth to explain, but Zeke cut in, trying to soothe her. "Eve, we're just trying to help. You're not alone, you know."

She glared at them, and for a moment, Ray feared she'd just turn and walk away for good.

"I don't need your pity," she spat. "I don't need anyone poking around in my life."

The words stung, and Ray bit his lip, but before he could say anything else, a crash echoed from inside the house. Eve's eyes widened.

"StrikeForce Armor On!" Ray and Zeke both yelled out rushing towards Eve's house.

"Mom!" she screamed, running toward the door.

Without thinking, Ray and Zeke followed her inside. They found Eve's mother, slumped against the wall, and her father standing over her—his fists raised in fury. Mr. Moon's face was twisted with rage, his eyes bloodshot from years of addiction, and he looked like he was about to finish what he'd started years ago.

"No!" Eve cried, rushing forward. But before she could reach her mother, Ray stepped in front of her, blocking her path, while Zeke engaged in hand to hand combat with Mr. Moon.

Eve then activated her Strikeforce Morpher as they could see the gas line leaking. Using her super speed she carried her mother to safety placing her right in front of the lawn. Eve could hear punches being thrown inside the house. Leaving her mother at the front of her lawn, Eve races back in to rescue the others. Making it back inside, Eve sees Zeke on the floor knocked out.

"Stay back," Ray ordered. His Strikeforce blaster activated with a hum of energy, and before anyone could react, Ray fired. The blast hit Mr. Moon square in the chest, sending him sprawling across the room.

Eve's father let out a guttural scream, clutching his chest. But the fight was over before it began. Ray stepped back, giving Eve the space she needed to run to her mother's side.

Eve knelt beside her, her hands trembling as she held her mother close. "It's okay. It's over now," she whispered, her voice a mixture of relief and sorrow.

Ray and Zeke exchanged a quiet look. There was no need to speak. They had done what they came to do. But Eve... Eve had a lot more to figure out.

As the two boys made their way toward the door, Zeke glanced back at Eve and her mother. "She'll be okay," Zeke said softly.

Ray nodded. "She will."

Later that day, Eve stood at the entrance to the gym, her face determined. "I've thought about it," she said to Ray and Zeke. "And... I'll join your team."

Ray grinned, relief flooding his chest. "You won't regret it, Eve."

But before they could talk further, Ray felt a shiver run down his spine. In a dark corner of the gym a camera is located in the corner of the room as Jovan watches the trio's every move from his office at Zechs Industries, his eyes flickering with a cold resolve. As he studied footage from Greekland, his fingers danced over the screen, analyzing every detail.

"I will find out who they are," Jovan muttered, his voice low. "And when I do, they'll regret crossing me."
