We said…. ARE YOU READY?! #TheReturnOfAClassic

Hell in a Cell Singles Match

CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre via Pinfall (31:25)

Chris/Jey says: We start off with Hell In The Cell. This was one of three of the best feuds in the last. Watching this match, they put out all the stops. They gave the name Bad Blood a whole new meaning. This exceeded my expectations in this classic opener. Both superstars gave us a cinematic ending to their feud that started off since CM Punk’s return. This storyline was well executed and one of the best Hell in a Cell matches since Undertaker vs Mankind. At the end CM Punk officially wins the feud and can finally move on. As for Drew McIntyre, he deserves some time off as he helped push this feud even though CM Punk was injured.

Tiki says: And we start off with a Main Event worthy match! The best WWE feud in the last months will finally find a conclusion here in one of the most dangerous matches in the Wrestling World. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will step inside the Hell in a Cell Cage… I must say I expected a lot from these two because I know how good they are and… they exceed expectations! It was one classic, one of the best Hell in a Cell matches we had. Both superstars gave everything to entertain us and we should only say one thing here: thank you CM Punk and thank you Drew McIntyre for this very special match. CM Punk officially wins the Feud that was started with a Fan Made Bracelet. I need to say this one more time.. This match would have been a main event at every other PLE!!!

WWE Woman’s Championship Match

Nia Jax (C) defeated Bayley via Pinfall (14:10)

Chris/Jey says: This is the first of two Women’s Championship Matches for the evening for the SmackDown side. As expected Champion Nia Jax and Challenger Bayley put on a pretty good showing. It was a very solid match. At one point Nia Jax seems to pull out a Hurricane Rana from her arsenal. Nia Jax has improved a lot since her return and has earned the right to be called WWE Women’s Champion. For the last couple of months she has developed a friendship with Ms Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton. After months of Nia Jax bullying the question will be if Tiffany Stratton will cash-in on her friend. Well, she had the chance at the PLE, but she didn’t. Paul Leveque and WWE is doing a great job here storytelling wise as we try to figure out when or if she will cash-in on the WWE Women’s Champion. I do hope Tiffany Stratton will get her chance to shine.

Tiki says: The first of the two Women's Championship Matches this evening and we start off with the Smackdown Side, the Blue Brand and with the Question will Tiffany Statton cash in her Money in the Bank Briefcase? As expected, Nia Jax and challenger Bayley had a very good and solid match with a lot of interesting spots and new moves. Nia Jax has really improved since her return and even more since she became the Queen of the Ring and Champion. Bayley for the last couple of years is one of the best performing Women in the WWE and I hope she will soon have the chance to win Championship Gold again because she simply deserves it. Tiffany Statton had the chance to Cash In her MITB Briefcase/Contract and it looked like it could indeed happen because Referee Jessika Carr who got hit during the match had the Briefcase already in her hands before Nia Jax spotted it. A very interesting situation which caused even more tension between the besties Tiffany and Nia…. WWE is doing a great job here. Special Shoutout to Jessika Carr, who sold that bump very well and played a major part in this match, she’s truly a great referee!

Singles Match

Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor via Pinfall (12:45)

Chris/Jey says: Damian Priest finally gets his hands on Finn Balor. The match itself was tremendous. Ever since getting on the main roster Damian Priest finally gets the love from the WWE universe as he and Finn Balor have a great PLE singles match. Loving where this storyline is going and hoping after The Bloodline Saga ends we can get a new one in the form of The Judgment Day. I am very happy with this group and The Terror Twins. During the match, I was really hoping Damian Priest would have some back up when Carlito and JD (bobblehead) came out, but this was a great move to have Damian Priest overcome the odds and defeat Finn Balor regardless of the interference. This was definitely a great singles match to start the feud. I don’t think this is over by a long shot as it looks like, The LWO and Ilja Dragunuv who by the way prays for a successful and speedy recovery will join Damian Priest in taking on the new version of Judgment Day.

Tiki says: Damian Priest will finally have his chance to have a match against Finn Balor. And we as Fans have finally the chance to see the match we have been waiting for. It was a great match as expected between these two great in-ring performers/superstars/wrestlers. Damian Priest finally gets the love from the crowd that he deserves and Finn Balor finally had a great PLE Singles Match again. Many people have forgotten how good Finn Balor really is, and how badly we as fans miss the singles Wrestler Finn Balor. I say this with the highest respect towards Finn Balor, who proved all over the world how good he is. And don’t get me wrong, I love, the Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD, Carlito and Liv Group. I think it’s an amazing stable and I'm happy they continue as a group. A great singles match to start the feud, because I think this wasn’t the last match between these two amazing Wrestlers.

Women’s World Championship Match

Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan (C) (w. Dominik Mysterio) via Disqualification (14:00)

Chris/Jey says: In the second Women’s Championship match saw the Monday Night RAW’s side of things. The feud between the Women’s World Heavyweight Champion Liv Morgan and Challenger Rhea Ripley became a very personal one. We all asked ourselves how Rhea Ripley was going to regain the Championship she never lost with Dominik Mysterio locked-up in a shark cage. Well the answer was she didn’t. Liv Morgan retained her championship.with the help from none other than the returning Raquel Rodriguez. The match itself had a lot of tremendous spots. Rhea and Liv are practically wrestling soulmates. Their chemistry is undeniable. They even teased the romance angle continuing between Rhea Ripley and current Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso.I absolutely enjoyed the Pinata portion of the match with Rhea swinging away on Dominik Mysterio. This is definitely leading into some sort of tag team match as the two women are going to have a WAR!

Tiki says: the second Women’s Championship Match of the evening this time it’s Monday Night RAW’s turn at Bad Blood. The feud between WWE Women's World Heavyweight Champion Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley is one I really enjoy because both Women are amazing in-ring performers and great on the microphone. The question tonight is, can Rhea Ripley win back the Women's Championship? Let's find out.. The Match started very well with a lot of great spots and sequences. Rhea and Liv have a great chemistry together and so it wasn’t a surprise that this match is gonna be good. Speaking of surprise…. Raquel Rodriguez made her big and long awaited return after being out of the shows for months. She helped Liv Morgan and attacked Rhea Ripley which caused a DQ Finish, Rhea Ripley won but Liv Morgan is still our WWE Women's Champion on the red brand. Was this the last match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan? I don’t think so… we will at least get another singles match and maybe a tag team match between these two incredible performers.

WELCOME BACK RAQUEL WE MISSED YOU!

Tag Team Match

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu via Pinfall (25:50)

Chris/Jey says: In the Main Event we saw WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeat The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. This match was poor cinema as we were at the edge of our seats the entire time. Roman Reigns was indeed a man of his word as he had the WWE Champion’s back, but that was not all. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa also got involved only to be taken out by the returning Jimmy Uso! My favorite moment was when Cody Rhodes was able to take down Jacob Fatu and put him through the announce table. This match overall was like a movie, as Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns made amends. The fun didn’t end there as The Bloodline attacked Cody Rhodes as Jimmy Uso finally convinced Roman Reigns to help fend off Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. Towards the end of the PLE we had yet another surprise return in the form of “The Final Boss” The Rock as he stared down Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso seemingly targeting all of them as he proceeded to throat slash. Now, if you're booking The Rock to be the next Main Villain in the WWE, I feel you need to make him a full blown out heel. Example not caring for the fans and doing whatever he wants. It would also give The WWE’s Avengers a purpose to ban together and take down The Final Boss, thus rebooting The WWE slightly giving us a whole new saga and evil faction.

Tiki says: Can enemies become friends? Or at least can they co-exist against a common enemy? This is what we're gonna find out now, here in the Main Event of WWE Bad Blood 2024. Roman Reigns makes his long awaited in-ring return since Wrestlemania and will team up with Cody Rhodes. The Frenemy Team will face the new Bloodline, the Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa and his enforcer Jacob Fatu who wasn’t really tested so far. He destroyed everyone in his way, even Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes… So how can you beat somebody who has no weakness? Teamwork, but can Cody and Roman co-exist as a team? Is Roman Reigns a man of his word and is Cody Rhodes 100% behind the idea of teaming up with Roman after saying he’s finished with the bloodline? A lot of questions but a simple answer: Yes. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes started slow but they improved during the match. But this wasn’t enough when Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa interfered in this match. But then things changed…

Cody Rhodes who did an amazing spot jumping through the Commentary Table and taking Jacob Fatu out of the Match and it was finally time Jimmy Uso made his big return to the WWE after being attacked by the New Bloodline he helped Roman Reigns to win the match. After the match Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso were about to leave the Arena, but the new Bloodline attacked Cody Rhodes… Roman and Jimmy had to make a decision, help their new ally or leave… but Jimmy Uso made it very clear on which side he stands and talked to Roman Reigns… both helped Cody Rhodes with the Faces standing tall with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns finally had their respect moment we have missed so badly. But… there was another surprise with “the Final Boss” The Rock making his return!
