VIKINGO A LUCHA LEGEND IN THE MAKING 

This Lesson that I am writing about is about the Lucha star Vikingo. He is currently one of my top fav Lucha Libre stars in the making. 

Emmanuel Roman Morales was born in Puebla, Mexico, and raised in a wrestling culture deeply tied to the traditions of lucha libre. He developed a passion for professional wrestling at a young age, inspired by the colorful masks, high-flying maneuvers, and storytelling that define the Mexican wrestling scene. Adopting the name Hijo del Vikingo (“Son of the Viking”), he set out to carve his own legacy in the sport.

Vikingo began his career in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), one of Mexico’s premier wrestling promotions. His unique mix of agility, creativity, and fearless aerial attacks quickly set him apart. By the late 2010s, he became a breakout star, recognized for inventing new high-risk moves that few dared to attempt.

While working in AAA, Vikingo also gained international attention, performing in the U.S. and other countries. His ability to blend traditional lucha libre with modern innovation made him a sensation among wrestling fans worldwide. His reputation grew through internet clips and viral matches, solidifying him as one of the most exciting performers of his generation.

On December 4, 2021, Vikingo won the AAA Mega Championship, the company’s top singles title. This victory established him as the face of AAA and one of the most important wrestlers in Mexico. As champion, he defended the belt against international stars, including appearances in the U.S., where he showcased lucha libre to wider audiences.

By 2022–2023, Vikingo was in demand globally. He worked with AEW (All Elite Wrestling) in the United States, impressing audiences with unforgettable performances against stars such as Kenny Omega. He also appeared in Ring of Honor (ROH) and other independent promotions, bringing his style to new markets.

As of 2024 He is back with AAA which is now owned by WWE so now WWE Fans get to know this legend in the making.
