Ronin Season One



 1. Pilot

Mia is rescued by Rowen a member of the Ronin Warriors after being attacked by a Dynasty Warrior. Rowen then, brings Mia to the hut where she meets the others. Ryo suggests they return her to her grandfather’s house where she lives with her Grandfather but, finds the house in shambles. Meanwhile, Talpa sends Kira and a squad of Dynasty Warriors and ambush the Ronins. The Ronins along with Mia escape the house after the battle and wonder who they work for. Mia worries about where her Grandfather might be. Episode ends with Kira recruiting a mercenary as Talpa agrees to put him to the test. 


2. Sea World War

While spending the day Sea World, Sage and Cye are forced to contend with Dynasty Operative Clawhammer, Kira, and a squad of Dynasty Warriors as both Ryo and Kento have gotten the flu. The two Ronins are helped by Detective Morgan who doesn’t seem to be on the same page as the Ronins. Meanwhile, Rowen helps Mia discover clues about her Grandfather’s disappearance which leads to Dynasty Industries. Chaos ensues once Rowen and Mia are inside in which they successfully escape. Back at Sea World Sage, Cye and Detective Morgan manage to kill most of the squad Dynasty Warriors while Cye stabs Clawhammer in the shoulder as Kira escapes. The remaining Ronins along with Mia return to the hut as Ryo and Kento are 70% healthy. Episode ends with Talpa uploads blueprints to an Armor he’s building.


3. Into The Woods

The Ronins are hunted one by one by a Dynasty Operative known as Tygra while on a camping trip. Tygra manages to trap and subdue all the Ronins except for Ryo. Meanwhile, back at the city Mia asks Detective Morgan to investigate Dynasty industries as she continues to search for her Grandfather. She suspects that he is trapped in an underground room but, turns out to be clean. In the woods in Forest Park Ryo saves the others and defeats Tygra in in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Episode ends with Talpa and Kira observing Mia Grandfather in locked rooms underneath Dynasty Industries. 


4. Scorpion’s Sting

After Mia’s best friend is struck with a poison needle, The Ronins investigate which leads to a confrontation with a Dynasty Operative known as Stinger. He gets the better of them which leads to Kento getting struck by one of the needles. Meanwhile, Detective Morgan begins to question Talpa regarding the disappearance Mia’s Grandfather. Cye and Mia find a cure for Kento as the other Ronins battle Kira, Stinger, and 2 Dynasty Warriors a warehouse nearby. Kira escapes as Stinger and 2 Dynasty Warriors are defeated. Mia’s friend is cured as the episode ends with Talpa forcing Mia’s Grandfather in making his armor. 


5. Heavy Metal

Mia accompanies Ryo to visit his father in Prison. Things become complicated when, Kira and new Dynasty Operative Steel arrive and incite a prison riot with the intention of freeing her Boyfriend, Dais. Meanwhile, Sage and Rowen find clues of the whereabouts of Mia’s Grandfather only to fall into a Dynasty trap. Back in the prison Ryo and Mia fight their way through the prison and confront Kira, Dais, and Steel. Ryo outnumbered is almost defeated but Cye and Kento arrive to even the odds and defeat Steel as Kira and Dais. Detective Morgan calms the prison as the episode ends with Mia’s grandfather beginning to build Talpa’s Armor.


6. Blown Away

After a series of bombs activate killing two Police officers, Detective Morgan is forced to team with the Ronins in finding the suspect. Complications occur when Sage gets trapped in an elevator with a pregnant woman as a bomb goes off. Meanwhile, Talpa watches Mia’s Grandfather work on the armor as it is being built. Back in the city Mia and Cye are able to pinpoint the the attacker’s location. It is revealed to be a Dynasty operative known as Boom. Rowen and Detective Morgan battle him as Ryo, Cye, and Kento rescue Sage and the pregnant woman. The baby is born and Boom is defeated. Episode ends with Kira and Dais notifying Talpa as they are followed back to the hut.


7. Stir Of Echoes

When people begin to exhibit symptoms of rage, the Ronins suspect a recently opened nightclub is the cause. Rowen, is then infected after infiltrating the club causing tensions to rise within the group itself. Going back to the club Ryo and Sage find out that a Dynasty mercenary known as Soundbite is the cause of their problems and decide to put an end to the chaos. Rowen, is then pursued by Dectective Morgan but stops when the rage effect wares off. Ryo and the other fight their way through the club and defeat Soundbite. Episode ends with Talpa wielding a sword.


8. Walking The Runway

After finding a beauty pageant contestant is found dead in her room, Mia is sent undercover to find the conspiracy behind it. Sending Kento as her escort he encounters Sedusa with 6 bodyguards of her own. Meanwhile, Rowen sneaks back into Dynasty industries and finds Mia’s Grandfather working on Talpa’s armor only to get caught by Kira and Dais. Rowen escapes but, Kira places a tracker on him. Back at the pageant Sedusa reveals herself to be a hired a Dynasty Mercenary. Ryo, Sage, and Cye arrive and a battle erupts between Ronins and The dynasty. Mia through the chaos calls Detective Morgan. Kento then with Mia’s help defeats Sedusa who is then, apprehended. Episode ends with Talpa emerging from the armor.

9. Darkness Rising- Mid-season Finale
The battle hits home as Talpa and the Dynasty ambush the Ronins at the hut. Rowen then discovers a tracker located in his back as a battle breaks out while Mia runs for cover. Mia’s grandfather then tries to notify Detective Morgan but, Kira knocks him out and takes him out. The Ronins take on Talpa not know it’s him the armor but are swatted away like flies. Rowen gets the worse of the beating as Ryo is easily subdued and force to surrender. Talpa about to deliver the final is intercepted by Mia as she is stabbed in the stomach. Talpa then cuts the gas line and the Ronins along with Mia are force to escape. Detective Morgan and the CPD arrive at the hut as the Ronins look at the hut burned to the ground. Mia is then rushed to the hospital. Talpa returns and announces to Mia’s Grandfather that her granddaughter is dead. 


10. Round and Round

As Mia is left in hospital bed fighting for her life and Rowen severely injured, the four remaining ronins are forced to contend with a Dynasty mercenary by the name of Disk-Oh. The mercenary begins to target members of the Chicago faculty at the high school. Meanwhile, Mia’s grandfather bonds with Kira as he sees good in her and decides to let him visit Mia in the hospital. The Ronins confront Disk-Oh in auditorium and battle him as the Choir begins to perform. Kento is then, able to choke him out with an assist from Ryo. As the police arrive Detective Morgan cuffs him and drives away. Mia and Rowen awake from the hospital as the The ronins visit. The five Ronins decide to rebuild the hut as Mia lays in her and reads a note left by her Grandfather. The episode ends with Kira and Mia’s Grandfather bonding some more as Talpa walks in. He then begins to doubt where her loyalties lie. 


11. Bones In Or Boneless

Ryo begins to have nightmares of their first encounter with Talpa, he decides to train even harder. In the meantime, Sage, Cye, Kento, and a 70% Rowen help their friend move some stuff from his house but find boneless corpses underneath his backyard. Meanwhile, Mia is still resting in the hospital only to get a visit from Kira stating the her grandfather is safe, promising to release him once he is done. The four other Ronins then do battle with a Mercenary known as Bonez but are single handedly defeated. Ryo arrives and manages to break one of Bonez weapons. The Ronins amazed are curious on what has gotten into Ryo as their leader walks away. Episode ends with Kira training with a Dynasty Warrior only to get defeated in sparring. Talpa threatens her daughter about betraying him. 


12. The War At Home

Rowen falls in love with a girl named Felicia. He is then invited to join her book club when complications arrive as The Ronins suspects her best guy friend to be a hired Dynasty Mercenary. Meanwhile, The rest of the Ronins are force to stop Dais and a squad of Dynasty Warriors from shipping illegal drugs from the island of Hueco Mundo. They manage in stopping the cargo as Cye blows off one of the tires causing it to swerve. Ryo manages to defeat Dais in a lengthy sword fight but, the Dynasty fiend escapes. Back at Felicia’s it is revealed that Dynasty Mercenary Bladez is there to kill Rowen. Bladez and Rowen battle but, Bladez gets the upperhand. The mercenary charges at Felicia about to kill her but Rowen grabs a knife and chucks it at Bladez spine killing him. Felicia and Rowen kiss passionately. Episode ends as Kira watches on with tears coming down her face. 


13. Going Viral Part One 

After a power outage occurs, chaos breaks out as the Ronins are force to team up Kira to halt the riots. Mia tries to locate the cause but to no avail. Meanwhile, Mia’s grandfather attempts to escape Dynasty Industries and almost does until, Dais injects him with a drug from Hueco Mundo. Mia then, manages to locate the culprit in an abandon apartment. The Ronins attempt to force him stop the virus but a squad a Dynasty Warriors show up. The Ronins along with Kira manage to wound most them in battle. The offender now calling himself Viral takes a swing at Sage but he knocks him out. The CPD arrest him and lands in jail. The Ronins return back their updated hut. As the episode ends Viral’s face appears on Sage’s television screen taking over their state of the art training equipment.




14. Control, Alt, Delete Part Two

The Ronins call in Sage’s cousin to help update their state of the art training equipment but, things suddenly go haywire when Viral takes control of the hut trapping the Ronins along with Sage’s cousin inside. Mia visits the prison where Viral is being held and tries to convince him to stop but to no avail. Meanwhile, Dais attacks Detective Morgan in him home and the two engage in hand to hand combat. Dais turns the tables on him and blinds him with mist and escapes. Back at the hut, the Ronins try to escape their house of horror and manage to succeed as Sage’s cousin is able to upload an anti-virus crashing their computer system. Viral gets upset that Ronins survive as Talpa arrives and visits him. He then, shoots Viral dead and takes the flash drive containing the virus as the episode ends.


15. Playing With Fire

Ryo decides to track down an arsonist on his own after a series of apartments begin to burn while, Kento and Cye assist Mia in locating her grandfather. Ryo encounters a Mercenary named Fireball, and becomes outmatched when he throws burnt ashes in Ryo’s face. Meanwhile, Sage and Rowen visit Detective Morgan at Rush Hospital only to be ambush by Dais. The two Ronins are easily manhandled as Dais almost destroys the entire building. Ryo then trains vigorously as Fireball appears again only this time at the Chicago Firehouse. Ryo and Fireball battle as the Ronin is able to subdue Fireball by holding a sword to his head. The Mercenary commits suicide and declares Ryo an Honorable Opponent. Episode ends back at Dynasty Industries as Talpa is speaking to members of the League of Darkness.

 

16. Across The Border

After weeks of training the team decide to take a vacation in Cancun but their vacation takes a turn for the worst as Sage is ambushed by a mercenary by the name of El Diablo. After a lengthy hand to hand combat, the Dynasty Mercenary escapes. Ryo and the other Ronins investigate a hotel room where he’s been staying but, to no avail can not find anything on this villain. Meanwhile back at home, Detective Morgan chases Kira but, surrenders and reveals the location of Mia’s Grandfather. Back In Cancun the Ronins’ encounter El Diablo at the hotel in the front lobby as he starts to shoot up the building. He sends Sage and Cye out the of the hotel land in which they in the swimming pool outside while Rowen and Kento are laid out on the ground. Ryo then subdues him, with the help of Detective Morgan who arrives late. El Diablo aims his gun at Ryo but, Morgan shoots him dead. Episode ends with Talpa visiting Kira in jail. 

 

17. A Star Is Born

When a singer dies on stage during a concert, the Ronins are hired as bodyguards to protect the singer’s wife and kids. As Rowen begins to bond with the son, a death letter is received forcing Rowen to hunt him down. Meanwhile, Ryo visits Kira in jail and tells her he forgives her hoping she would use her skills for good but, things get heated when Ryo is ambushed Dais. Back at the house Rowen and the others are attacked by a rival singer turned mercenary by the name of Star-Cross. He gets the upperhand on Rowen and knocks him out. He then, goes after the family and Mia. Rowen regains consciousness and goes after Star-Cross while Sage, Cye, and Kento deal with a fleet of Dynasty Warriors who have arrive. Star-Cross and Rowen get into a fist fight with Rowen shooting him in the shoulder with with one of the the playing darts. Episode ends with Talpa training with Dynasty Warriors getting ready for another round with the Ronins.


18. Hail Mary

Ryo finds a body in a pew at a church and calls in Sage to help him find the killer. The two are then ambushed by a Priest turned Dynasty Mercenary. He escapes just as Rowen shows up for back up. Meanwhile, Cye and Kento visit Kira in jail bringing Mia along when a Dynasty attack occurs. Cye and Kento manages to swat down many Dynasty Warriors but, Dais arrives. Back at the Church Ryo, Sage and Rowen hunt the Mercenary dubbing himself Preacher. The three Ronins find him and battle him inside the church. During the fight’s conclusion Sage manages to slightly stab him as Ryo kicks him down. Cye contacts the three for a team meeting. As the episode ends Ryo decides it’s time to take the fight to the Dynasty.


19. Tick- Tock

Talpa incites a prison riot and abducts Kira which forces the Ronins to go after her and the Dynasty. They race against the clock as a Dynasty Mercenary known only as Timecode knows where Kira is being held captive. Meanwhile, Mia and Detective Morgan work together in order to help pinpoint Timecode’s location as the mercenary has planted five bombs throughout the city. Detective Morgan brings in the bomb squad to disable the bombs at each location. The Ronins are then able to locate Timecode and a battle breaks out. Ryo, Sage, Rowen, and Kento attempt to use the numbers advantage against him but, turns the table on them when he plants for time bombs by the crates. Cye then, rescues Kira but Timecode spots them. Attempting to escape Cye and Kira put the past behind them in order to take down Timecode. Kira then, stabs the Mercenary through the chest killing him. The Ronins then return Kira to Cook County Jail and leave her be. As the episode ends Talpa is seen punishing Mia’s Grandfather.


20. The Pawn

During a battle with the Dynasty, the Ronins encounter Rowen long time friend named Casey. Trying to to protect his family, he joins Dynasty in order to right the wrongs a certain gang has done to them particularly his sister. Casey goes on a warpath searching for the gang and Rowen takes notice of this. Meanwhile, the others are forced to deal with a Dynasty Mercenary that goes by the name Checkmate. Ryo and the others battle the Mercenary and manages to defeat him early by throwing him down an elevator shaft. Casey finds the street gang first and attacks the hideout. Rowen arrives just as Casey is about to slit the leaders throat. As the civil approach failed, Rowen is forced to put an arrow through him. Detective Morgan arrives and tells Mia that he might have some leads on her grandfather. Rowen later visits Casey at Cook County jail and says that he will find a way to get him out. Ryo is then sleeping in his bed as he wakes up. He then stares at his katanas as the episode ends.


21. Cold Front
When chopped up body parts are found in a refrigerator Detective Morgan is forced to call in the Ronins to help in the manhunt but, problems arise as Ryo is unable to focus at the task at hand after a confrontation with the Mercenary known as Ice who escapes after accidently locks the others in the freezer. Meanwhile, Ryo tells Mia about heading to Dynasty industries to take on Talpa alone but Rowen listens in and tries to attempt to talk some sense into him. Thanks to Mia’s tracker after their last confrontation, Sage, Cye, Kento, and Rowen trackdown Ice to a butcher shop. After a lengthy battle with Ice, Sage and the the others manages to defeat Ice when Sage manages to stab him through the shoulder while, Kento choke him out. CPD arrive and take Ice into custody. The Ronins return to the hut and find Ryo’s armor gone from the case. Kento finds a note from Ryo stating that he has gone out to take on Talpa alone. Episode ends with Ryo armored up and readies himself for an assault on Dynasty Industries.


22. The Winds Have Changed

After Kento finds the note Ryo has left them he notifies the others right away. The remaining Ronins along with Mia attempt to track Ryo but, to no avail as they have checked all of his favorite places to hangout. Cye then remembers that he placed a tracker on everyone’s armor and can find Ryo through that. Meanwhile, Ryo begins his one man war against the Dynasty swatting away as many Dynasty Warriors. Simultaneously, the others locate Ryo location only to be intercepted by Dynasty Mercenary Sandstorm who makes sure they don’t make it Dynasty Industries. Ryo makes into Talpa’s office and confronts him only to be held captive and knocked out by Dais. After a lengthy chase throughout the streets of Chicago, Rowen manages to blow out one of Sandstorms tires causing his vehicle to swerve and crash into a baseball field. Episode ends with The Ronins finding out Ryo is located at Dynasty Industries as they prepare to rescue to him. 

 

23. Endgame- Season Finale

After reading Ryo’s letter, Mia and the Ronins set out to Dynasty Industries to go and rescue Ryo. Mia then contacts Detective Morgan for support for the upcoming battle. Rowen, Kento, Sage, and Cye armor up and prepare to raid Dynasty Industries as Detective Morgan arrives with a squad of CPD officers. The Ronins and CPD arrive at Dynasty Industries with Dynasty Warriors awaiting them at the entrance as a battle erupts between the two sides. Cye, Rowen and Mia enter the building as Kento and Sage stay outside with CPD. Dais emerges out of the building attacks Sage. Meanwhile, Talpa reveals to Ryo that he plans to pull the city into darkness making once it once was. Ryo then breaks free and attacks Talpa head on. Rowen fights his way through the Dynasty industries reaching Talpa’s office. Cye and Mia find Mia’s Grandfather and escape with him but, decides to help Ryo defeat Talpa. The battle continues outside as Sage and Kento struggle with Dais who has the upperhand. Detective Morgan shoots through his armor allowing Sage and Kento to simultaneously stab him killing him in the process. Rowen arrives to help Ryo as the battle continues on the rooftop. The two Ronins are overwhelmed by Talpa who is about to deliver the final blow. Mia’s grandfather then, sacrifices himself as Rowen puts two arrows through his spine. Ryo kicks him off the roof and is presumed dead. Mia runs over to her Grandfather’s dying body and begins to cry. Ryo drops his katanas and walks away as the others gather around the lifeless body of Mia’s dead grandfather. As the episode ends Kira hears about the deaths of Mia’s Grandfather, Dais, and Talpa. She is then visits a mysterious figure warning her that “They are coming for you.” The mysterious man leaves a skull mask by her jail cell.
